YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD MINIATURE PAINTER

Miniature painting guides and 3D printable bits

Sometimes our hobbies become a little more than just that. This is small little corner we carved out just for that. Think of it as a designer palette cleanser; a little outlet for art and design

A Creative Outlet

Much like our architecture and wedding design we love just the enjoyment of creating. Our Patreon is small but serves as a little creative outlet for those evening hobbies. It’s aimed towards beginner painters and hobbyists like myself who are interested in exploring miniatures outside of the large brands. We design hobby products, basing bits, knowledge blogs and paint guides. Our Subscription grants you access to our monthly releases or our vault tier for our back catalogue.

This isn’t the architecture page your looking for?

If you somehow have browsed around and you have come across this little corner of my website reserved for hobbies and creative outlets you may have questions.

Painting little soldiers or designing toys may seem a bit strange but alternative skills help sharpen our existing ones. From developing new solutions and ways of working, to generally exploring cool items. It helps keep design free for me stopping burnout and creative blocks.

This isn’t a side hustle but rather an untapped industry of friendly collaborators, creators and makers who equally love design and exploring new and interesting processes.

Painting is a small passion

I love miniature, but it never started that way, on purpose. I unfortunately I don’t have one of those, I played Warhammer as a kid and it came back to me stories. I got my start with Airfix and my cousins small collection of lord of the rings miniatures. From there I would collect and build 1/35th and 1/72 scale models until I got my first 3D Printer. That’s were the real magic for me took off. Sometimes buildings can be great to model but what if I could design, print and paint interesting models…..well that’s exactly what I do.

A few things we like doing.

Knowledge Guides

Small short knowledge guides of techniques, reviews or interviews with creators. A collections of items and hacks I’ve learnt on my journey.

Paint guides

If you were expecting golden demon then I’m sorry. We do easy to follow beginner friendly paint guides for models outside of the large IPs. Perfect for returning hobbyists or younger painters.

Hobby Products

Small 3D Printable hobby products from basing bits to SFX and everything in between. Sometimes I’ll explore a battle tech robot or a 28mm miniature.

People we Collaborate with:

Jandro Marquez @jandromarquez3d

I’ve been a long time supporter of Jandro’s work from Star Wars miniatures to the post apocalyptic wasteland with D&D in between. His work is always strongly rooted in great paintability and clean model details.

I now have the fortune of being able to collaborate with Jandro from time to time offering painting services for his incredible kickstarters and narrative lore building aims.

Make sure you check out his work and past projects in his MMF store front.

The Creator Coalition

The Miniature Coalition Program is a platform with the primary objective of bringing together Miniature creators and facilitating the sharing of various tabletop-related content, such as models, stat sheets, painting guides, or anything else related to the hobby, with their respective subscribers. As part of the program, each creator commits to donating something of value every month. These generous contributions are then gathered and distributed among all the participating creators’ subscribers, thereby providing them with a steady stream of additional models and resources on a regular basis.

Make sure to join their discord…I’ll see you in there.
